Parallax & Ponder is a free 30-day advanced English vocabulary challenge. These Terms govern your use of the site. By using it, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. Educational purpose

Parallax & Ponder is a self-directed educational project. It is not a school, accredited course, testing authority, certification provider, tutor, or professional adviser.

The site is intended for lawful personal study. It is not directed to children under 13.

2. AI-assisted lesson materials and no promises

AI tools were used to help produce lesson materials, including video and audio content, definitions, examples, quiz questions, and crossword clues. The project creator directs, selects, and curates the material and makes reasonable efforts to catch mistakes, but errors may remain.

Content may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, awkwardly phrased, or unsuitable for a particular context. Check important definitions and usage against reliable sources.

Parallax & Ponder does not promise vocabulary mastery, exam results, academic performance, interpreter certification, employment, or any other outcome.

3. Messages and corrections

If you send a note through the feedback form, you keep your rights in the message. You give Parallax & Ponder permission to process and use it only as reasonably needed to respond, investigate a correction, protect the site, and improve the project.

Do not submit confidential, legally privileged, medical, financial, or other sensitive information. Sending a message does not create a confidential, professional, or advisory relationship.

4. Acceptable use and ownership

You may use the site for personal educational purposes and link to its public pages.

Do not:

• use the site unlawfully;
• interfere with its operation or security;
• bypass limits or protective measures;
• submit malware or abusive material;
• use excessive automation or bulk extraction that burdens the site;
• republish, sell, mirror, or copy the site as a competing content library;
• infringe another person's intellectual-property or privacy rights.

Parallax & Ponder owns its branding, site design, original compilation, and material created for the project. Third-party media, trademarks, dictionaries, and linked resources remain the property of their respective owners.

5. Availability, disclaimers, and liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available." No promise is made that it will always be available, secure, accurate, complete, or free of errors.

Lessons and features may be corrected, changed, paused, removed, or discontinued at any time.

To the extent allowed by law, Parallax & Ponder is not responsible for losses or damages caused by using the site, being unable to use it, relying on its content, AI-assisted lesson material, or following links to external websites. Nothing in these Terms removes a right that cannot legally be waived.

6. Changes and contact

These Terms may change as the project changes. The date at the top will be updated when the Terms are revised. Continuing to use the site after a revision means you accept the updated Terms where permitted by law.
